I own both, and will buy both. Both will be awesome.
personally though, I will have to give the edge to KZ2. Mainly because all the things that made Gears 1 so awesome, are roughly the same in Gears 2. You have some extra stuff that's cool, but the impact it's going to have on gaming is no where near what the first one was. Gears 1 was a 360 game, and Gears 2 will be a 360 game.
KZ1 Was last generation, so the leap will be huge. Also, the money and time put into KZ2 should really help. KZ2 will also have more stuff going on at the same time. The game will feel very much like war (like CoD4 did).
I am just happy to play both of them!
