Let me say I tried the Tales demo, and I was honestly terribly disappointed. I never played any previous game in the series, and I can honestly say the design of the game for me is nothing short of dismal. I suppose different strokes for different folks. That said that only leaves one possible title of the two. I was actually afraid that Infinite Undiscovery would be too much like Tales of Vesperia.
The most recent previews have made me more comfortable with this title. I like the camera freedom, and the instance free battles. I love the world navigation being a three dimensional render rather then the two dimensional flat world in Tales. The exploration elements also look to be fun. Above all that I prefer the presentation both graphically and story presentation. To me Tales came off as far to juvenile.
Anyway I am going with Infinite Undiscovery it looks to be the game for me.
