This is an amazing anti-sony thread.

First of all, I dont see why the EyeToy (original) Couldnt do that in some shape/form. Why the new one couldnt do it I have no idea. Actually you wouldnt need a green-screen to do it.

Really, I can see next-gen. (2009) games doing that with the EyeToyHD. Why? Simple. Becuase the PS3 has the processing power to do it, and the EyeToyHD, has the video input to do it. Will it render you in 3D? No. Can you do an adventure game in full 3d? No. But then agian, the useful-ness of the Wiimote is limited in traditional games at well, so really, moral of the story, next-gen controls will always have problems with older types of games. Now I'm not saying would play ElderScrolls6. It would be a niche market. Kinda like most of us Sony guys, put the Wii. It's call.
Get this.
General Audiance.
I love my EyeToy, and your a idiot if you think the EyeToy is a peice of crap, becuase it works wonders for video chat on my PS3. It also has a great mic on it.

There is so little programming knowledge in this post I don't know why I'm even trying to correct it.  Processing power has NOTHING to do with the built in functionality of the camera device itself.  The PSEye can sense motion and location of motion.  THAT'S IT.  There is no ability to render 3D models, there is no ability to sense depth, width, precise shape, all there is is motion.  This is a very cool video, but it has NOTHING to do with the capabilities of the PSEye or old Eyetoy.  There is some similar results to completely different functionality.  This isn't an anti-Sony post, but ssj12 flamebaited it claiming this was like the PSEye.  Saying this is like the PSEye is no different than the people who see animation demos and say "Cell can do it!"  He is trying to relate this to a technology that has next to nothing in common with it as a way of attacking the Wii.
