I agree with Sky Render in that, I just don't see how anyone can think this will be a success--including investors and the developers. I mean, I haven't even heard of it until right now (and I forgot about Pandora). This doesn't even seem to have the announced 3rd party support that even the N-Gage, Wonderswan or Neo-Geo Pocket Color had.

For that matter, I don't see how Apple believes they actually have a chance to "conquer" the portable industry when the installed base of iPhone users is only around 6 million, well shy of competing with the 37+ million PSP's and the nearly 80 million DS's people have bought. They barely even have a chance to compete. Consider, too, that not all iPhone users are going to go out and use the thing for gaming.

It looks like a slightly bigger Game Boy Micro with an extra d-pad in place of actual buttons.

This gets a big ol' "meh" from me.
