The OP obviously has some misconceptions about the functionality of the Eyetoy. I bought one a few years ago just so I could put my face into Tony Hawk then took it back the next day because it sucked.

My biggest complaint was that it lacked percision when playing the game specifically designed for the peripheral. Face capture was cool but it wasn't worth the money. With the Wii it has been proven that the controller has excellent percision if the developers know how to program the use of the remote correctly, this is something that just can't be done with the Eyetoy.
