i've actually been given more hours at work after the credit crunch (don't know why). but it's very hard to be affected by the credit crunch in london because its everything is expensive here anyway.
part of my job is to offer credit and finance to customers, and i have noticed that a lot less people are going for the finance option, and are paying by cash/debit card, which in turn means they have less to spend, which also means that they shop a lot less often. but personally it hasn't affected me, like i said, london is a very expensive place to live in already.
