1. Gameplay
most important thing in a game for me is that its fun to play, otherwise i wont play it, i play games from many genres, as long as there fun to play ill play them (this is contingent on opinion though, for instance i like Wii Sports, but prefer Gears of War)
2. Social Aspect
i like games to have online multiplayer or local, but only for some games, others i like for single player modes, again its about fun for me
3. Sound
i like my games to sound good, good soundtracks or voice acting helps make a good game
4. Innovation
if you make innovation, great, if you cant, meh, as long as the game is fun!
5. Graphics
i like my games to look good, but its not essential
