"Wound to PS3 owners" What?

What game do you not get to play?

It wasnt about that it was that Square - 1. promised it would remain exclusive  2. claimed it was taking full advantage of PS3 (even tho they still say this despite the multiplat announcement) and  3. people were really looking forward to buying a PS3 for this exact title and how much of that was a slap in the face basically saying: "hey Sony look your biggest rival will have your biggest exclusive along with u" that's basically the same if Sony went after Gears 3 how bad would that affect M$ if their biggest rival took their (technically) second best exclusive and made it a PS3 multiplat title.

1. Companies lie.

2. How is that different than pre-release hype for any game, then after release they say "we only used XX% of the power".

3. -First, it never was Sony's. It's Square Enix's

-Second, Sony owns a small portion of SE, they have the movie distribution rights; Sony probably had an offer to keep exclusivity.  They will probably make back everything exclusivity lost.

Why does it matter to you if one system sells more than another if both are selling well and profitable?

I know it didn't belong to Sony but everytime we (PS fans) turn around another PS -only title goes multiplat I said the same about Bioshock and Lost Planet coming to PS3 that they too should've remained exclusive to the 360. Why buy different systems if these games will end up on all of them anyway - that makes no sense, I do understand that exclusives are more costly than in previous generations I just think it's better to have a system that has different games from the rest that's all I'm sayin

And no multiplatform game takes full advantage of one console's hardware and this gen has REALLY taught us that especially in the case of PS3 ports.

Disclaimer: I plan on owning all three consoles.  This will sound like I am hating on the PS3, but I'm not.  I have said a lot of nice things about the PS3 (though not always Sony).

Most cross platform ports suffered more when they were ported to PS3 than the ones ported to the 360.

What does it really matter if Lost Planet looks slightly better on 360 or if FFXIII looks slightly better on PS3?

It's still the same game, and will fail or suceed on the merits of the game and the marketing department.

Only a slight handful of people would be able to tell the difference when they aren't next to each other.  Very few of the people who could, would care.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
