Perhaps, I personally don't think so. I think it depends how you look at the 360/PC relationship. Yes 360 gets games that it would not have, but it also loses exclusives that it probably would have had were it not for that relationship. I've never owned an Xbox, but I've played my share of Halo. If Fable 2 is fantastic, I always have the hope it'll come to PC and I won't have to spend money on a new console.

You feel that the relationship is leaning more towards PC benefitting 360, while I feel that it is leaning more towards detracting from 360. Suppose we'll just have to wait and see if Sony is in truly as hot water as you say.

edit: personally it seems to me that you're trying to justify what you'd like to happen, instead of just looking at the current situation and making a judgement call.  I suppose you could argue that I'm doing the same in the opposite direction, but then again I don't have anything that says I hate MS in my sig.....

I completely understand where your coming from, it could both benifit only microsoft or only benefit the pc world, but my take is that it will benefit both, theres no denying that having Gears of war on 2 platforms is better for microsoft than sony only having say Drakes fortune available to ps3 owners only.... all im getting at is this........... halo had huge sales on both xbox and pc....... games like resistance will only EVER be seen on a sony platform, that could be deemed beneficial but at the same time the game is clearly not gonna sell as well as a say " halo or gears of war" i think the microsoft/pc partnership will see microsoft beat sony in the long run, maybe not this gen, but by say 2012 i think microsoft will be the leader in console gaming.............
