Sony - R&CF: Quest for Booty - View Post

It's a 2.3GB file. It makes little sense to publish it on BD rather than on DVD, but since the format has been standardized on the PS3, looks like the difference in pocket change media price doesn't matter to Sony.

As for why distribute it on BD, it's obviously to reach more consumers since PSN sales tend to number in the low 100k range -if- successful.

If Sony keeps the same price structuring, it should cost the same as the download, but I can't see the financial sense in publishing and distributing a 3-4 hr game at retail for less than $20.

The lighting effects were improved over the original, as well as the textures, which were higher res than ToD. It wasn't your imagination.

While it won't be my most played PSN game, it was definitely the highest in terms of production value and quality. Essentially like buying 1/4th of the full release ToD.
