I keep on hearing it, but I'm not seeing it.
Not saying it won't happen, but everyone was saying wait until this year, wait until E3, wait until etc, and it still hasn't happened.
Starting to sound as bad as the PS3 domination people, but at least they finally stopped.

I haven't seen that being done to the "wait for $199-$299" comments.
If you want an example look at the DS. Many people thought the PSP would prove to be huge competition, shovelware for its first year and the only hyped game was Castlevania. After the 2nd year started it got better and now look where it is.

Yeah, but two years in (Early 07) PSP was all but abandoned.
Two years into this lifecycle, PS3 and 360 have life left in them, and Wii is outselling the systems, but no the same margin that the DS was outselling the PSP.
And there's also a gaggle of different reason why this will be much different that the DS and PSP, like pricing (PSP was 2x the cost of the DS, whilst 360 is priced comprably to the Wii, and PS3 isn't 2x the Wii), also games are making tons of money and sales on the PS360, while PSP proved it couldn't sell software, etc. etc.
