Well the article doesn't aknowledge that Microsoft still doesn't have the brand name appeal that either Nintendo or Sony in the video game world. People can say it's sales problems as of late are all because of the Red Ring, but the fact that it can't get it's numbers above 200k in a month with Halo 3 just two months away really says to me Microsoft still has a ways to go before the mainstreem gamer treats the brand Microsoft the way they do Nintendo and Sony. Many will buy 360's for Halo 3, no question, but the fact is it's not going to be hip to own a 360 to the same extent it was hip to own a PS1 or PS2 during their dominance, or the way it seems to be hip to get a Wii right now. As for the titles of articles heres how I would have gone.
