Oh no, that is not what I meant.
It's that the idea that anglo/americans use(d) the burden of power as an excuse to be imperialist. Think bring civilization, bring order, bring democracy. That is what the white man's burden is. It is a knock at ourselves.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
