IMHO im on the fence with this one. On one side there are a lot of hardcore gamers that will spend lots of time creating lvls/maps/triggers. Examples are Halo 3 forge maps (the good ones) and on the PC Starcraft and a huge amount of other games. Honestly I could see LBP satisfying both the hardcore and casual demographics but their execution will have to be flawless on the game.
Sony is pushing the hell outta this game to point of it overshadowing R2 (at least from all the hype from forums etc etc) which could be a bad thing. However, I just don't see LBP bombing or even coming close to it. Even if it only satifies one demographic it'll still sell millions. Either way...its a one day purchase for me!
