I've heard that changed with Jeanne D'Arc, however, and I hope they do something similar for WKC. Tbh, the lacking stories were the main thing keeping them from sitting amongst the best of the best for me. :P

 

They said in an interview I read that they understodd that they've had problems with the storytelling in previous games and are trying to fix it.

Most RPG developers don't even try to write a good story but Level 5 are actually trying(and recently, have been succeeding) improving the storytelling in their games.  WKC will be AAA at this rate.

 

Now I'm even more excited for WKC than every before.

I just wish they'd stuck with White Knight Story.

Of course, it might be White Knight Story in NA and White Knight Chronicles elsewhere, much like how Dark Cloud II was known as Dark Chronicles outside of the US.

I wish Valkyria Chronicles had stayed Valkyrie of the Battlefield as well.  Tbh, i don't think I'd mind WKC so much if VC wasn't using the same word, lol. But WKS is definitely better.  Simple and sweet.
