Yes and no. The novel is made of three chapters. Till the end of the first two (which, in fact, is where the short story ends) it's perfect, the plot is really engaging and it feels more complete than the short story. The third chapter is totally the opposite, it drags a bit and I feel the end is kinda forced and not very satisfying. Overall the book is good, but it's disappointing that with a first part that's so good the end isn't on par
