Well with all the bashing of the game the OP has done of course he will come n here to defend it! How dare anyone not immediatly recognize it to be the best game ever thought of. |
Sorry, I posted this in the wee hours of the morning here, so I haven't been able to read it until I actually woke up this morning.
Anyway to the bolded part: What LBP bashing have I done on these forums? This is easily the best PS3 game that's coming out this year (and probably for a while), what I was questioning was where it stood in the eyes of Sony and the PS3 fans in terms of getting sales (which I bolded in my OP so that people would at least read that part before posting, obviously alot of you didn't, thanks to those who did, notably makingmusic and axumblade).
The only PS3 games I've done any bashing of are Killzone 2 and Uncharted.
@Jo21: You obviously didn't read the OP (entirely), like I said in OP, THE SPANNER IN MY WORKS is that stages can obviously be downloaded. My point was, if people don't take the time to try and make maps themselves (which I think'll be awesome) doesn't that take out half the game?
Also, to those who said it comes packed in with 50 maps, I didn't know that, but it doesn't exactly change things. Multiplayer games bring out map packs in order to keep things fresh (I just recently bought the CoD4 one), so it would seem unlikely that the packed-in 50 stages will last very long (I imagine they'll be like a level in the 2D Mario's, maybe slightly longer).
EDIT: Okay, for those of you that posted without reading the OP, this topic isn't about how good LBP will be (I think it'll be great) so don't start calling it LBP hate, because it's not. What this topic is about, is given the nature of the game and the way it's played, will it really be the casual hit sony wants it to be?
