To accept that Killzone 2 might actually be a success that will compare to Halo or Gears kills these fanboys on the insides. VGChartz is a loosely moderated flamefest. You ever think people like Selnor could give an UNBIASED opinion? Look at how he responded to STAGE, a fellow fanboy, for even mentioning the word "cult" in reference to Halo.

Don't worry about it. Killzone 2 and LBP simply have no equals for what they are trying to accomplish anywhere else. The fanboys can like it, or bash it blindly. Either way reviews and sales will speak for themselves. Just remember that its almost possible for someon to type "Game A looks better than B." Better is a matter of opinion, even if their opinion is complete crap, lol.

I think most people who don't own a 360 would clearly see that Killzone 2 looks miles better than anything else, and thats been the general opinion on the internet of late. VGChartz is a place for sales information, not for news, and DEFINITELY not for unbiased opinions. (Haha Selnor, watta joker.)

You used the word "might actually", which everyone (including the hardcore Xbots) will agree with you. Killzone 2 MIGHT ACTUALLY be a success!! I admit it.

The problem is that you're one of the few that says "might". For example look at forevercloud's previous post with "The PS3 is all powerful, it cannot, will not fail..." ... its that mentality that the PS3 is a god that drives everyone else nuts.

This amazing belief that the PS3 cannot fail is weird, and I actually hope that the PS3 does well so that all these poor souls don't do anything drastic if the PS3 ends in third place.

Yeah I agree, it might be a total flop. But what parrot has done with this thread is show people previews where people have said otherwise.

Hes showing that people who have actually played the game seem to like it and that this game will actually perform well. All indication is pointing towards Killzone 2 being a success, and until we see a huge flaw with the game we should give it the benefit of the doubt I would think. A lot of people are writing off this game because the first one underperformed, and are completely ignoring the screenshots and previews.

I don't think the PS3 means a game is fail-proof (HAZE, lol), but I also don't think a lot of the bashers are even trying to be unbiased when looking at this game. That was the purpose of this thread, IMO. He was saying "Hey, I know you all hate the PS3, but look at the positive screen and impressions from Killzone 2."

(Not directed at you Gebx, just general) If the PS3 is such a failure, then why not let it fail on its own? Don't sit here and bash anything positive that comes from it, or bash posters for actually not being negative but positive for once. If there was no "fanboy war" this thread would be totally exceptable and others would thank him for putting them on to a promising game with similar qualities of their console favorites. If hes not bashing a console (which he did not do in the OP) lets at least try to approach these things with an open mind.
