And even though it has not been anounced I would geuss it to be PS3 exclusive becuz -PS3/Wii would be a huge let down -Tetsuya Nomura Directs it and he Hates the 360, but loves PS3. He is "Fond" of the Ds but not the Wii as many seem to try and translate him to be. -Exclusive to Wii is rediculous seeing as RPGs fanbase stronghold lies on the PS3. Majority of early adopters bought the PS3 for just such a game, as well as FF. Dream on people... |
That is definitely not the case. The internet exploded over FFXIII's multiplatform deal because it was a bad sign for the PS3. Go read any of the many whines made when the announcement happened, it's all about how the PS3 is no longer the must have system, and Sony fans being pissed off about it.
The Wii will not lose steam, because it continues to come out with bigger games than any other system. PS3 has yet to come up with an answer to Wii Fit, Wii Sports, and Mario Kart Wii. The biggest game coming this holiday is also very likely Animal Crossing, and the best selling game from 09' will be Wii Sports Resort. It's not about games you like - remember that people who'd go on forums like this are not representative of the majority. Most people here probably didn't touch the DS until it got the support it has now, and by that time it was already a huge success due to Nintendogs, Brain Age, etc. "Casuals" determine the outcome of these console wars, not the "hardcore" minority.
As for KH3, it's just impossible to say what will become of it. It comes down to Disney & Money (Wii's side) vs Nomura (PS3 side). Until something is said about it, there's just no point speculating. You also talk about the RPG fanbase being on the PS3, while it's impossible to tell at this point. Wait until Eternal Sonata on the PS3 and ToS:DoTNW on the Wii come, as that'll at least give us some numbers to go by.
