No, the other thread asked Halo/CoD fans to come in. If he wanted true FPS fans to come into the thread and not fanboys he should have just said so, and everyone knows that you can only be a true FPS fan on PCs. I am being a fanboy here but I have CoD4 for 360 and I liked it but it still doesnt compare to Counter Strike 1.6. or Battlefield 2142.

To quote GamePro on their Killzone 2 multiplayer hands-on experience:

"Killzone 2 is doing so many inventive things on the online side that it's looking like the "kitchen sink" multiplayer experience. It feels like Call of Duty 4 mixed with elements of Halo and Battlefield games. Guerrilla Games really seems to get the online innovation thing, implementing tons of clan and tournament features, not to mention the option to customize each game to play exactly how you want it to. Shooter fans should really start getting excited about it now, though I think many of you have been waiting almost four years for this to drop. We're almost there!"

Second hands-on opinion from GameSpy:

"Killzone 2's feature set feels like a combination of many different excellent ideas that have appeared in previous games, all brought together for the first time. It feels like it incorporates the job system from Final Fantasy Tactics with the experience system of Call of Duty 4 as well as the unique character class roles from Team Fortress 2 (not to mention the spawn mechanics from Frontlines: Fuel of War.) Not a bad lineup if you're drawing comparisons."

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
