How many big-budget PC-exclusive sim, adventure, and strategy games have been released lately that were actually good? A few, maybe, but those are all niche genres anyway (outside of any game with Will Wright or Sid Meier's name slapped on it, anyway.)

Because big-budget makes all games amazing, right? What you just wrote is completely stupid. You should know already that budget only helps you make a better game, but it doesn't autmatically make it a good game... see Too Human, Lair or Haze for example. Developers can make excelent games with low budget, and many developers do so, like Simbin or Telltale games, they don't have big financial backings but they still make great games like GTR and Sam & Max. Judge a game by it's quality, not budget.

Another stupid arguement of yours is if it's a niche game. It's ok if you don't like that type of game, but dismiss thousands of games because they're from niche genres??? That just stupid of you. If FPS games were niche, would you dismiss Bioshock, Crysis, Orange Box and ignore a bunch of other games?

Platformers and JRPGs are niches, so let's ignore Super Mario Galaxy and Final Fantasy XIII because we're "hardcore" - Sponsored by Garcian Smith.

If Mushroom Men had a budget of $500k, would you stop buying it and say that it has a budget too low for you? Even if the game turned to be brilliant? What matters is quality, not budget.
And again, if Mushroom Men was from a niche, would you stop buying it and say it was too niche?? Even if you would love the game? What matters is taste, not idiotic assumptions like "niche = crap".

In addition, the only good PC-exclusive RPG I can think of this past year was The Witcher, and what racing games are on PC that are so much better than those on the 360? (I'm honestly asking, because I'm not familiar with the genre.)

Hey, let's compare the exclusive RPGs between PC and X360, since X360's launch.

X360:
Blue Dragon
Eternal Sonata
Lost Odissey

PC:
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
Lord of the Rings Online
Guild Wars Nightfall
Guild Wars Factions
Guild Wars: Eye of the North
Neverwinter Nights 2
Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer
The Witcher
Age of Conan
Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars
Titan Quest
Tabula Rasa
Dungeon Runners
And more...

There's no constest on RPGs. PC wins heavily in quality, quantity and variety.

PC has several good recent racing games, like pure simulation such as GTR 2, Race 07, rFactor and the upcoming GTR Evolution. And there's Trackmania United Forever. To be honest, PC doesn't really crush X360 in Racing games, but I still think it has a better lineup of Racing.

As per casual and parlor games, those aren't exactly "big-budget."

And now a word from our Sponsor:

Portal, Audiosurf and Braid aren't big-budget, so let's ignore them because we're "hardcore" - Sponsored by Garcian Smith.

Finally, the only successful PC-exclusive shooter in recent memory is Crysis, and that was more of a graphical tech demo than anything else.

Crysis
Stalker
Battlefield 2142
Red Orchestra

There more but these were the most sonant. The thing is, what good FPS does X360 have against PC? Only Crackdown and Bad Company?
