You can compare game sales when a price drop occurs - Just track similar games from the year before, and see if current games get a boost.

 

No you can't there's too many factors to consider the effect a 360 price cut would have had on software sales .

 

- The promotion of the similar games might be more or less than previous years.

-There are more titles on the 360 than there was last year.

- The increase in software sales is not guaranteed to be similar to the increasee in hardware.

-The Price drop may very may bring in a poorer demographic who will buy more used games as opposed to new ones.
