I doubt there will be an immediate price cut. Sony wants the PS3 unit to be profitable so this new chipset savings will probably mostly just go into the reduce loss per unit sold column. My guess is that a pricecut will probably first happen with the next generation of SKU's unless the PS3 suddenly has a lot of trouble in the marketplace again. The price of a PS3 is not so daunting anymore anyways, I think with all the killer titles lined up for fall and the increasing popularity of Blu-Ray, Sony will have little trouble selling PS3's even without a price cut.
