What do you you want them to say?
"We're going to drop the price of the 80GB PS3 to $500 right after we sell out of 60GB PS3s. Buy them up!"
They are not thinking about not dropping the price again. This wasn't even thread worthy...
Microsoft is saying they aren't going to drop their price as well, but does anyone believe they will never do it? Of course not. As others have said, you can't announce you are thinking about a price drop. You announce price cuts.
