Personally, I think that there is a "victim card" being played constantly by many PS3 owners ...

Since the PS3 launched there have been more games that were "100% Guaranteed AAA 5+ Million sellers" than any other system (according to PS3 fans) and yet the PS3 doesn't have a single 5+ Million selling game, and many of these games failed to be decent quality games. Now, whenever one of these games was brought up anyone who didn't agree with they hype was "bashing" these games.

The most annoying thing is that after all this hype when the games do not meet these unrealistic expectations the PS3 fans are never willing to accept the comeuppance, and will claim that a game (like Lair or Haze) was never hyped at all.

Every system has their fair share of duds.  Remember King Kong, Perfect Dark Zero, or Too Human?  Eventually you get a game like Mass Effect, Dead Rising, and Bioshock.

Well the PS3 has its fair share as well.  Than it finally got Ratchet and Clank, Warhawk, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, all those innovative PSN titles, and most importantly MGS4.  You have an anti-PS3 history, so I understand why you wrote what you did.

Every system does have their duds, but the XBox 360 fans are far more willing to accept reason and won't say that you're "Bashing" Too-Human when you point out it was in development for 10 years; and Wii owners are far more likely to have expectations of moderate sales with long legs for many of their new IPs. From what I have seen, it is only the PS3 fans who have expectations of games like Lair, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted to outsell games like Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Bros.

The fact is that right now many realistic expectations for Little Big Planet (like 80% to 90% reviews and sales of 1 to 2 million) are instantly called "bashing" by PS3 fans.
