OT: Not a bad choice I suppose because Biden almost definitely won't hurt him and he might help him. Still, who McCain picks as his VP carries far more weight than Obama because, well, McCain is 72....

 

I disagree with what you said about Biden not harming the ticket. Senator Biden is notorious for his gaffes. If he says something that could be construed as unsavory, it may do irreparable harm to Obama's candidacy. Conversely, Biden mitigates two of Obama's weaknesses; his lack of foreign policy experience and his lack of appeal to white Catholics. I will repeat what I posted earlier: a wise decision by Obama.
