Aborting foetuses is always a hard decision and in an ideal world would never happen because undoubtedly there is a point at which a foetus can feel pain and is aware before birth, so abortion can amount to killing a human being if done at the wrong time for the wrong reasons. It is unfortunate that medical circumstances, and (early on) social issues, make it in some cases the right thing to have an abortion.
We need to treat abortion as seriously as we can, and make sure our decisions are the right ones with the aid of medical experts, science, and parental input.

I meant people with that specific position (that people can do whatever they want pre-birth with regards to abortion). Of course I don't know your life, but that argument only gives ammunition to the "pro-life" camp because it can be generalised to "all pro-choice people are insensitive and amoral, and want to kill innocent babies" to shock the undecided people and make them go on one side before they have heard all of the reasoned arguments.
