Acquire several billion pounds from various banks and proceed to pay developers to work on open-source (free software) projects with the eventual aim of destroying Microsoft and Intel's desktop monopoly.
You might think blowing up Microsoft HQ would be faster, but this is a more realistic and permanent solution that would lead to market takeover by being the best product, not by default.
