Savior from....what exactly?
I think MGS4 and Blu-ray handled that pretty well. Its no Wii, of course, but its definitely not doing poorly anymore. Its sold over 6 million this year already, and still has the majority of its sales this year ahead of it. If it could sell at this rate for, lets say 7 years, it would sell over 100 million for the duration of the consoles lifetime.
And all of this without a price drop, without Gran Turismo or Final Fantasy. I don't think it needs saving.
