I spent about 10,000 points and then Microsoft gave me 10,000 on top of that. After my 360 RRoD, my new one would no play any of my downloaded games. So, I called them and bitched about it and they game me all my points that I had bought so that I could use them to buy back my games or spend on something different.
I later figured out how to get my old games back so Microsoft just gave me 10,000 point just for bitching.
