Looks like a generic RPG, nothing special.

LOL!  Yeah... that's a good analysis of what's shown in the videos.  Okay...

actually it kind of is. The entire be good or be bad thing has been done before the original game. Having a semi-smart AI creature tag along that you can interact with, not to sure on this but probably has been done before on PC.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, play it, love it.

Don't forget the Baldur's Gate series, Jade Empire and Mass Effect, too.

I think people may be missing the point of the dog.  It's not that the dog is a semi-smart AI creature that tags along and can be interacted with... that's certainly been done before.  The idea is how it behaves, moves, etc. like a real dog.  Yes, there are examples of this in other games, just not to this level.  Also, I don't think the dog is the only "big" feature in the game.  My guess is the devs were only able to reveal a small part of what's being built, which would be in line with the very low-key nature of the trailers.  Some of the really stunning artwork shown in the flybys isn't even demonstrated in the trailer.

I think this is going to be a snowball release... the hardcore, such as myself, will get this game to have another Oblivion.  Then word will begin to spread from gamer to gamer that the title is groundbreaking and the floodgates will open.  This is my official prediction.
