Tactics Ogre: March of the Black Queen - i remember playing this before Final Fantasy tactics. IMO this was one of the greatest story driven games ive ever played. the gameplay was pretty awesome too, was alittle more in depth than tactics which is why i put this here instead of Final Fantasy tactics (although it should probably still be in the top 10) Final Fantasy VI or VII - you choose, both excellent and awesome. thats all i could think of in the spur of the moment |
Lunar's story and gameplay weren't what seperated it from other JRPGs at the time, it was the inclusion of anime cutscenes
