I am surprised that they did not introduce some sort of storage in the new PSP

I am too. I thought they might add a model that has 4gb or so built in and use that sku as a test to see how well it works and to see how much people adopt that system. Instead, I guess they chose to offer the 4gb memory stick bundle, which is pretty much the same thing without the added cost and complexity of designing a model with the flash built-in. I really think next year, end of '09, we'll see the PSP2 with on board memory and I think people will be pleasantly surprised that it won't cost much more than the current model. You gotta figure getting rid of the UMD drive would lower manufacturing cost and complexity substantially.

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
