It seems Sony did a bad job at showing Heavy Rain in the way they did. It also seems that 'a lot' of people don't even know adventure games or played Quantic Dream' other masterpiece 'Indigo Prophecy', also known as 'Fahrenheit'. I think Sony did a bad job at showing Heavy Rain because a lot of people don't seem to get it.

Thank you for enlightening us oh, you great adventure pioneer. Maybe you would like to discuss the amount and quality of the dozens of adventures I have finished since 95. It seems that YOU don't know what adventures are, sayin that Fahrenheit was a masterpiece.

Yeah, there was some innovation in Indigo Prophecy, but doing QTE to play guitar or avoid flyin attackin objects in the room, or walking down the ONLY path at the graveyard to find a cross, or do the silly stealth part as a boy?

Gimme a break dude...The game was more utter junk than masterpiece.

However, still Heavy Rain looks promising and astounding graphically and technically.

Uhm sorry, did i offend you in any way? Cause looking at your reaction it seems i did? I'm reading my post again, but i don't see any reason why you would be. But i'm glad you highlighted the right one so i know what you're talking about.

To prevent to offend people like you, who do know adventure games, i clearly said: "It also seems that 'a lot' of people don't even know adventure games". I'm glad that you like adventure games, i really do, and that you finished dozens of them since '95, but why would i want to discuss that with you? Even better, why would you want to discuss that with me? Anyway, you probably know a lot more about adventure games than i do. So no, i'm not "a great adventure pioneer", i know i'm not, i never said i am and i don't pretend to be one.

Even if it's a dying breed, that might have it's comeback in the coming years, i do know the adventure genre and how these games play. Maybe i didn't play that many, but just because i think Indigo Prophecy is a masterpiece, that doesn't mean i don't know adventures. Come on. Besides, it's my personal opinion. Indigo Prophecy to me was a great experience, the atmosphere and the way it told it's story. I loved it. Of course i'm talking about the first 75% of the game, the last quarter was, well, just bad. That doesn't mean i think it's perfect. I do agree with you about some weird aspects of Indigo Prophecy, but still, i loved the game. But hey, you have your own opinion and that's fine. But don't tell me my personal opinion is wrong, just because you think differently. You would be right though if i said Haze was a masterpiece, but Indigo Prophecy is a different story.

Anyway, the only reason why i wrote my post was that, clearly, there seems to be some misunderstanding about Heavy Rain. A lot of the posts above this one tells me they didn't understand the Heavy Rain trailer, maybe they didn't play Fahrenheit(Indigo Prophecy) or they don't know the Adventure genre. Whatever the case may be, i felt like i could help them to explain what Heavy Rain will be like. And i'm glad it seems that my post helped at least a few people.
