Both are great games, the big difference that I see is that Halo change the way Shooters are played, and MP is one of the best on its genre but used a lot of old thing, so one is inovation and the other is trying to get perfection. When you think about cars or electricity or planes you know who are the pioneers but not who perfected the invention. Just my point of view
