Am I the only one that doesnt think God of War 3 will make a 2009 release? My guess would be an early-mid 2010 or at worst late 2010 release. The studio in scea santa monica finished God of War 2 in spring 2006, and i was under the impression that they didnt start right away on a sequel (with comments throughout 2006 from Jaffe about how they were still waiting for a greenlight from sony to start production, working on other projects, etc). I would think that a game, with predecessors with such high production values for ps2 gen, would take much longer than 3 years to full develop (especially considering creating new engines, the dev team with less ps3 programming experience).
But maybe Sony is concentrating more resources to the team to help speed up development, who knows.
