- Mario dies when he falls into holes on the ground
- Dante is always protected by invisible walls and cannot die from gravity.
- Mario is an Italian plumber
- Dante is a demon hunter
- Mario fights turtles and eats mushrooms
- Dante fights creatures spawned from the depths of Hell and eats Pizza
- Mario dies when any one of his enemies TOUCH him
- Dante can survive after being inpaled by a sword even after he bridges himself up backwards.
If it's a real fight, I'd have to go with Dante.
