The slight performance gains don't really matter to me, it's nice but that's not why i'm upgrading. I'm looking at these two drives - Seagate 200GB at 7200 RPM with 16MB Cache http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148307
and a Seagate 320GB 7200 RPM with 16 Cache http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148336
the main difference is HDD space & $20. I'm leaning toward the 320gb since it's only $20 more & i can get an employee discount |
The second 320GB 72k drive would be my top pick if I were upgrading drives today.
