Well to tell you the truth it was my first. I have only played FFVIII and up (excluding 9 and 11). I also played FFI. The only weird thing was at first I hated the game but I kept playing and I loved it. I dont know the story of FFVIII beside its a love story. I only played it because of the sweet intense action scenes (Remember the opening). Give me a break though I played it when I was 9.
