That may be true but since Sega went multplatform has there games not been as good?

I think your missing the fact that Wii hardware sells so good because of the one piece of good software that comes in the box.

Corrected. People buy Wii for Wii Sports, I guarantee you if you factor out former GameCube owner's purchases from the sales of Wii's and Wii games, that we would be looking at "fad-like" numbers.   In other words,

Mildly Successful console (among usual gamers) + Fad = Wii Sales

So lets just remove former PS2 owners from the sales of PS3 and PS3 games and we'll get worse than fad like numbers.

In other words, stop making illogical postulations.

By the way, aren't you the one that said, "False.  Don't post your opinion as fact."?

You cannot prove the fallacy of my statement.  I could very well be right about the demographics of Wii ownership.  Don't try to use my words against me.  What I was responding to was clearly opinion.

RolStoppable said "During the last generation graphics have hit the point where they were considered to be good enough by most people."

The success of the Wii in no way proves ANYTHING about graphics.  In fact it only speaks to the "coolness" (read novelty) of the control scheme.  Most people could very well disagree with him.  As they could very well disagree with me.  If you take "I guarantee" on a web forum at face value you have a misunderstanding.  I don't guarantee anything to anyone can interact with face to face.
