The game looks awesome. I wonder about the leveling system too - if it will be Eternal Sonata-esque with fixed increases, or if there will be a skill system, or something to make it deeper than it seems.

As for the undiscoveries, badger - There is a metric ton of hidden areas in plain sight. Capell can use is flute to unlock these areas for extra items, weapons, and such.

From Achieve360points, we can understand a few things when it comes to combat, leveling, and the like:

1) The combat system is pretty deep. You can chain 50+ hit combos ala Tales of Vesperia - both on the ground, and in the air. There are achievements for surprise attacks, long air combos, long ground combos, and "downstrike" attacks.

2) You can obtain 'Battle Skills' and Spells in the game. I am unsure if Battle Skills are merely sword techniques, or are deeper (achievement for learning every Battle Skill, and Spell in the game)

3) You can learn different tunes in the game that have various effects (achievement for learning every in the game)

4) Some characters have Job Classes. You can cook, learn alchemy, forge, write, and enchant in the game.

5) There are quite a few conditional missions in the game. Some achievements require you to defeat attackers in a village without losing civilians for an achievement, protect certain people in escort missions, complete certain quests perfectly, and then use the area around you to your advantage (such as detonating every explosive barrel in the prison).

So it seems that with the various Job Classes, there will be quite a bit of depth in the game that hasn't been discussed. It seems there is a TON to this game that is still.....Undiscovered.

I've never really been big on the whole "create your own items thing", but I LOVE combos. The fighting system here looks like a mix of SO and KH, and I think I'll be pretty happy with it. I wonder what the extremely powerful attacks or skills will be in this game(You know, the really spectacular looking ones. Every JRPG has them!)

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
