Yeah, the shooter gambit is successful, as in America, shooters sell awesome, and that's where PS3 needs the most work.

The PS3 needs more work in Japan...

*sigh*

Soriku.  Sometimes you are a very confusing character.

There isn't much to be done in Japan, they've picked their consoles already, and it's gonna stay the same.  DS - PSP - Wii - PS3 - 360.

Not too much is gonna change that with Wii's commanding lead over the PS3 and the PS3s lead over the 360.  Not too much to do there except wait it out and release a slimline model to get some PSP like success later on in life.

Europe has decided too, in the Wii's favor, PS3 second and 360 third.  As we can see with the weekly sales.

America is different though.  Wii just passed 360 and PS3 keeps on making up ground agains the 360 every month, so this is the most important part.  Japan and EU are on auto-pilot while Sony focuses it's efforts on the North American gaming audience.  It's the only territory where Sony will be in last place at the end of the year (Others will be PS3 > 360 by years end) and obviously needs work.  Which is where the shooters come in.
