Well ,I think Sony has focused in FPS because the only market they have disadvantage with the 360 is US and FPS are the favourite genre of US hardcore gamers.
When Socom ,Resistence 2 ,MAG and Killzone 2 are out I think Sony will have kind of matched MS position as undoubted leader in the genre.
Now ,about RPGs the situation is much worse but I think in the next 6 months we will at least see 4-5 very good ones on the PS3 with Disgaea 3,Valkyrie of Battlefield,The Last Remnant(later that on 360 but still coming),White Knight Story,Eternal Sonata....some japanese ones,and magnificent WRPG as Fallout 3,Jason and the Argonauts and Sacred 2 among others.
