World Tour instruments will work for RB2 on both 360 and PS3, both were confirmed. Nothing about the Wii yet but it sold the least number of copies (thanks to crappy support), so its not a huge priority is my guess. I'm pretty sure Neversoft has also committed to weekly DLC updates in addition to a number of album debuts. As for the editor I'm pretty sure the restriction is that you won't be able to record the audio for the part but you will be able to insert a lyrical part to the songs for someone to sing during playback. |
What about the other way around? Is Activision still being pissy and not letting RB instruments work with their games? This is a big thing for me since I'm purchasing the new RB2 instruments and don't plan on buying a second set. If they work for GTWT, then I might pick that up later.
I like the idea of the music creation program. I just doubt I'll ever use it if I can't insert the vocal track. Don't get me wrong though. I think GTWT will be a fun game. Even if I didn't have RB1 though, I would probably pick up RB2 over GHWT anyway. RB2 comes with so many more available songs right out of the gate.
I give that post a 9.7.
Thank god for the disable signatures option.
