.. atleast that's the impression I got from your post I initially replied to

1. Didn't I already state that 5 million was more of an average from the predictions I've seen?
2. I don't gloat over the realizations of my predictions. "I told you so" just alienates people.
3. If...IF...did you not see the "IF" in my post? IF the hype if 5 million. I think there was IF there.

I don't see how you got the impression I wanted the hype to be 5 million based on my post bit I'm sure you see I'm not the only oen expecting it to flop based on the hype.

 

but lets be honest and forthright. This forum isnt really a very good "objective" source to use in terms of pointing to userbase. The next potential "flop" in the terms im now seeing displayed here will most likely be Killzone 2, Alan Wake or Home. Only because based on what qualifications people are using. It takes a company tooting horns, and delays up the wazoo or the tooting of horns for a long period of time. Sony hasnt even started "hyping" LBP....the hype has come from users thats only a good sign.

 

In terms of using sales projections....disregard what people say here. We all know a new IP selling anywhere near 2 million is successfull so why dont we just go ahead and use that as a bar. and i fail to see how LBP sells less than that.
