OPs post kinda nails it but it not gonna turn that way.
Guitar hero is a better known brand than rock band.
Guitar hero has sold alot more than rock band.
imo GH:WT gonna sell alot more but Rock band 2 gonna deliver way more. Some thing that really matter to me personally is this :
Alot of DLC
Fun gameplay
Developers that listens to their fans
which HMX has shown that they do. While Activison and RO just rapes the guitar hero brand til its dead and show no intrest in their fans.
What i really see as a gimmick is the new make your own song thing in GH:WT it prop gonna be make a TFFAF clone with no vocals times a billion.
