I agree with the retard stuff.  It was in bad taste, but I still don't think it is worth discussing and I would still recommend the movie.

My feelings about that word, is it used to be the name.  It's like midget.  People without disabilities convince others to care, so then they deem one word appropriate and another inappropriate.  But then that word becomes the bad word, so they tell the disabled group to call themselves something else.

I've never met (in person) a disabled person who didn't label themselves with the colloquial label.  It's always PC non-profit who is run by a salaried founder who works off of donations by guilting those of the majority while doing little to help the group in question.



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
