Why not make it compatible with PC games?
Well for one, you'd be further discouraging those who would have bought a 360 if most of the games don't end up on PC anyway. Reason why is because 360/PC compatibility would mean that games would be much much easier to port, meaning that almost all next box exclusives would surely make it's way onto PC and there would be less reasons to buy a the new xbox because the PC is so much more then just a gaming console AND it is upgradeable.
