Because relative to any significant exclusive on ANY platform, Too Human wasn't hyped. Indeed, until the last two weeks, many people forgot it existed. It certainly didn't receive anywhere near the level of official and unofficial hype Haze and Lair (well the official hype stopped when Sony realised it sucked) did. |
Too Human was hyped.
Too Human and Haze are the exact opposite. Haze wasn't hyped at all, but lots of people put stock into Too Human because of Silicon Knights' previous work (Eternal Darkness).
Lots of people were hyping this game to a very large extent. Only when we had learned that the game would be mediocre to bad by most standards a few months ago did the hype train screech to a halt.
Haze stopped being hyped when it was first previewed as being terrible (IGN December 2007). But this game was being hyped up until the first preview of the game came out a few weeks ago.
