GHWT Wii is costing me $212cdn at EB after taxes(GST+PST apx 14%).
I find the idea of a pay tracklist having more to be negligable. It's only a matter of time. GH is shifting to GHWT so it needs to re support the extra instruments. This could cause them to have done little in the way of getting loads of tracks. With a major push coming after WT is released. Then again maybe they are just not as good as RB line.
The daily challanges sound interesting. It would be a nice feature. Though I feel that DLC + Song maker will ultimetly give GHWT to me more longevity. I have American Sk8tland for the DS. While the DLC challanges are fun for the game, they ultimatly get repetative and become unimportant. New levels however would have gone farther.
So heres how I see it. These rythym games are ultimatly about playing the songs not the extras. So the songs will give the game the longest life. RB has good DLC and a better head start. GHWT has DLC + Custom(shit and good) songs being made for it, because of this is the reason I'm for GH:WT. GH:WT will wend up having a supperior playing track list in a shorter time frame. Though some, ok a good portion will suck because it's fan made. You will end up with far more songs. The only draw back is that there are no creatable vocals.(sorry no recorded background audio tracks for vocals line). So yeah, GHWT better potential, RB Nifty features.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
